Brand Identity
In the center of Madrid, Spain is one of the city's cultural icons: Teatro Calderón de Madrid. The building is much admired by passers-by and its façade has displayed the names of many of the country's greatest performers.
The branding system for this theater uses a custom typeface based off of wrought iron signs in Madrid. The flower logo mark is based off of metalwork decor on the outside of the building. The logomarks are also paired with secondary type and photography, as well as tiled into a pattern.
